Quick answer
What is Balo Sinh Tồn VN? A compact emergency kit pre-packed with 17 essentials — water filter, dry rations, first aid, fire-escape smoke hood, radio, solar power bank, headlamp, multi-tools and more — so your family can cope with the first 72 hours of an emergency in Vietnam. Launch price 4,250,000₫ (≈ $165), list price 5,500,000₫. Early-access sign-up is open — free, no deposit.
Why you need it
Nobody wants an emergency. When one comes, the difference is whether you prepared.
Typhoons, flash floods, tidal flooding and landslides arrive more often and with less warning. Preparing in advance is the only way not to be caught out.
When roads are cut, power is out and the network is patchy, rescue may not reach you straight away. You need to look after yourself and your family in the meantime.
Where's the flashlight? Any bandages left? Is the power bank charged? A bag that is already packed answers all of it — just pick it up.
Young children, elderly parents, relatives far away… a ready bag is a gift of reassurance, not of worry.

FAQ
A survival backpack — also called an emergency kit, go bag or 72-hour kit — is a bag pre-packed with essentials such as water, a filter, light, first aid, a thermal blanket, a whistle and a power bank, so you and your family can look after yourselves for roughly the first 72 hours of a flood, long blackout or other emergency. When something happens, you just grab it and go.
Every household should keep at least one, especially families with young children or elderly relatives, people living in typhoon-, flood- or landslide-prone areas, hikers, campers and frequent travellers, and expats who are new to Vietnam's rainy season. It is also useful kept in a car or at the office.
17 items: a survival water filter straw, Aquatabs water purification tablets (20), a Naturehike 10L collapsible water container, BB702 military-style dry rations, an UltraCare first-aid kit (with thermal blanket), a fire-escape smoke hood certified by Vietnam's fire authority (PCCC), two 3M Aura N95 respirators, an emergency rain poncho, a 3-band FM/AM/SW radio, a 10,000mAh solar power bank, a USB-rechargeable headlamp, a multi-tool survival bracelet (whistle, compass, fire starter, blade, paracord), multi-tool pliers, waterproof duct tape, an Ocean Pack 20L dry bag, zip bags and a waterproof phone pouch. An optional 2-year care & refresh plan costs 590,000 VND (about US$23) and covers replacing the dry rations and N95 masks, topping up first-aid consumables and checking the power bank, radio and headlamp.
